NEWS: Spring 2023
The spring season has started and we are running kayak courses again. A first beginner's course starts in May. Advanced courses also start in May. Dates can be found on the "COURSES" page.Furthermore, we again have an extensive program of trips planned by our members. Information on this can be found on the "TRIP SCHEDULE" page.
General information
The Kayak section offers a broad variety of activities. From family excursions with children or easy rowing trips till white-water rafting, everything is possible.
The region Basel is an ideal starting point to navigate the rivers into the Swiss Alps, the Black Forest or the French Jura. Most important for us is the experience with the element water in its natural environment and the pleasant get together of the group.
In case of excursions taking several days, we sleep normally in tents.
The section provides beginners with the necessary material in order to introduce them to this sport.
In summer we train at evenings when the white water canal at huningue is open and in winter Fridays in the indoor pool in Bottmingen.
For us it is very important to train our members; therefore we offer courses in cooperation with local kayak schools.
